Cell cycle test

This test was the final test of what we had learned about the cell cycle and the general overview of cells. I found this to be the most worthwhile during the unit because it showed that I had a strong comprehension of the cell cycle and helped me greatly for the future project we did. When asked to explain what we are doing or why something is happening on a scientific level I can confidently have an in depth explanation with ease, I think this came a lot from this quiz. Prior to the quiz I studied very heavily and used notes that would assist me for the test. I felt that the most challenging part of the test was making sure I knew what content was going to be on it, and then being able to show I knew the content. I tend to have a hard time during quizzes but I took the initiative of finding ways to stay calm during the test which allowed me to feel more confident. I think learning methods to stay calm and do my best on the test is why I'm able to explain many things on a scientific level now.

Wildfire Exhibition

we spent about a week and a half on this project. Our LEARNING TARGET was to learn and apply our understanding of experimental design to shed light on the factors that affect forest fire risk. We made observations and define problems, ask scientific questions, form testable hypotheses, identify independent variables, identify and measure dependent variables, build models, conduct investigations, collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate information to the scientific community of our classroom.
