Short Film
I thought that this was going to be a very enjoyable project and for the most part it was. I had a very hard time with coordination and when I was going to film with my actors. I love the editing part of making my film and all the tough bits of it. As time went on I began to dislike recording more and more, but it was enjoyable as a whole experience. I found that working with actors was the hardest bit of filming. There were days where he had planned and one of us was unprepared so we couldn't film, or because one of us wasn't at school. I loved the editing and being able to really fine tune my clips and see it really coming together and complete. I learned that I'm not one for making plans. Creating the storyboard was my least favorite part of filming. I wanted to get right into filling and didn't have to organize my thoughts. But eventually I got it done and felt very complete with what I did. I noticed that a lot of the platforms on Adobe Premiere are really easy to use once you learn the basics. There were some times where I had to YouTube what I needed to do, but for the most part it was easy to understand and I liked it. I'm used to using other editing platforms such as I-movie but it was good to try a different platform and see what I was capable of. I noticed that my time management was not very strong. I needed to make a more concrete plan of what I was doing at certain times so then I wouldn't become behind. I chose to make a horror Short film because it's a genre that I really enjoy and I thought it would be fun to create some of the ideas I have and materialize it for others to see for the most part I'm proud of my work I think if I had a budget and more people helping me it would have been a better production for the most part I'm really proud of this being my first short film.
Adobe Audition - Sound Designing
THIS ASSIGNMENT WAS USING THE ADOBE PLATFORM, ADOBE AUDITION to create an audio clip with a short story or speech that you hold deer to yourself. I chose to use immense imagery from one of my favorite books; As Good As Dead. This book is about the teen pip attempting to solve a murder but little did she know a stalker wasn't going to let that happen. I used sound effect to add depth to me reading aloud the snipit to the book.

Teacher CREATURE Project
Artist Statement
As a kid Smurfs 2 was one of the movies that I would watch nonstop and to be honest, I still would. I love the Smurf movies and the show so I felt it was right to do this poster. I hope that I did justice to them. I can relate to the characteristics of some of the Smurfs so it's like a release of myself getting to see them on screen. I chose to photograph and edit these teachers because they were the main teachers that I wanted to get to know and the ones that would most likely be able to recreate the faces of the characters, for example, Farkas nailed Hackus’s goofy face. I’m very happy with my final product, I think the color matching of the Smurfs to the teachers is very close so I'm proud of that. I put a lot of effort into it and also had a lot of fun! Doing this project was a great learning experience for photoshop and having the creative freedom motivated me to work very hard on my art.
